BIO

Colleen McCulla is an Interdisciplinary artist exploring machine learning & human creativity. Based in Chicago, IL

I make art that plays with technology to ask who really makes an image—and why it matters.

Colleen McCulla is an artist based in Dublin, Ohio, whose work blends craft and code to explore how technology shapes what we see, believe, and call “real.” She holds an MFA from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her projects range from daily collage and hand-sewn flags to AI-driven image systems, with past work shown at SCOPE Miami Beach, on PBS, and in a TEDx talk.
